"If the Republicans wanna lose guys like me, and a whole bunch of still God-fearing Bible-believing people, go ahead and just abdicate on this issue, and go ahead and say abortion doesn't matter either," he said. "Because at that point, you lose me, I'm gone," Huckabee continued. "I'll become an independent, I'll start finding people that have guts to stand. I'm tired of this."
Hey Mike you know we need all the votes we can get and we will not back down on abortion but you need to let the gay marriage thing slide. Here the deal if you think they are living in sin there only one person who can really judge on that and he is our lord and savior. I think he would want people happy as long as they are consenting adults. Strange times we're living in, no doubt. Huckabee's threat, by itself, is no big deal. But if more GOP-friendly voters do the same on Election Day we know exactly what the results will be.
