Nerdprom gumption

Last night we had the press corp correspondence dinner. It was a chance to joke about the president and each other.Yet i wasn't thrilled with it. Why am i not thrilled with it?  The recent craziness with Boston and West, Texas they were pressing matter that we need to deal with yet we had this dinner last night. Now a lot of you would say it was good to let off steam. Newsflash i wouldn't have mind it but Obama has one of these thing every freaking week. it's like he partying while this country is burning.

Plus now it become a hot hollywood get together. They had film and tv stars, sport stars and stuff. They even had the cast of freaking duck dynasty there. Thank god Robert Griffith 3rd didn't show up. He was suppose to be there but blew off NBC. Plus mark knoller said it best quote "It's long overdue for White House reporters to reassess whether the annual lavish black-tie event is appropriate in this day & age."

Second thing is that every year it's the same liberal comic that is hosting and not taking risks and telling tough joke about the president when he is a lib. If it was a republican president we would hearing harsh jokes about him his family and other conservative. When Steven Colbert was the host he ruthlessly joked about Dick Cheney accidently shooting his friend. I remember Afterward they told him he was speaking truth to power. Yet no one attack Obama because that would be mean.

Now we barely hear a joke about Obama. Not once did Conan o Brien really give Obama a good dig. Yet no one ever invite a conservative comedian to host the nerd prom. Like Steven Crowder even thou he would be nice just because he wouldn't slam the president or Steven Kruiser who would torch Obama with no fear. Better yet instead of doing the show there why not do the show as a fundraiser for the victims of West, Texas and Boston. Plus let conservatives host the show and really give Obama a taste of his own medicine. Well i say let speak truth to power and have a conservative host the show.
