Today is what would of been Andrew Breitbart 44th birthday I'm not to morn his life I'm here to praise it . I can't believe he's been gone almost a year. The one thing i missed about him was his friendship. While other people have been longer friends to Andrew then I. Me and Andrew had a real good back and forth. Our shared love of Alt.music. and our friendship with former Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin.
When he gave me his number the first time I'd called him was to talk to him a little about ideas for my story. At the time thou he was in one of the most news breaking story of the year. Anthony Wiener Twitter fail. So it wasn't the best time to call him. It's was a awhile before I'd called him again. Then my first article appeared. This is one of the biggest thing that happened to me.
The next time i did call him. It's was Christmas so being who i am i called him up to wish him a Merry Christmas. He sounded sick that day i asked him if he was alright and he said he was under the weather. So we talked a little and wished each other a Merry Christmas and that was the last time i called him.
To say when I found out he died I was upset is a understatement. I was crying it was hard to process seeing Andrew Breitbart February 1, 1969 – March 1, 2012 on my screen. I so didn't want it to be true but it was. The fact i'm tearing up right now thinking about it is proof on how much he mean to me not only as a boss but as a friend. You all saw Andrew as the one man gang of stopping corruption and I saw him as the faithful husband and dad of Susie and his four kids and son in law of Orson Bean and Alley Mills.
The left celebrated when he died because they knew he wouldn't be hunting their lies anymore and flashing them on tv. We still have some good investigators on our side but none with the power of Andrew. That why I'm writing about him today because he was my Bossman, My sensei, My Brother in christ and My friend. God bless you brother Andrew you are a great and beloved man and we are still fighting for you in spirits
